OUR SESSIONS, last between 50 to 80 minutes depending on your dogs ability to stay focused. Most sessions are over an hour.

About us
At Bluehat, we believe that every dog deserves the best life, as do their parents.
Our mission is to help both develop a strong relationship through effective and enjoyable training methods. As a Canine First Aid instructor, I am also able to provide courses to offer you another level of care for your dog.
Having spent most of my adult life working away from home serving in the Army and as an outdoor instructor in a local school. I feel it is now time for me to spend more time with my family and help to serve my community.
Drawing on my past experiences as an instructor, coach, trainer and dog parent and now a dog trainer, I aim to provide advice, training and support to those of us who need it.

Ian is a very personable and knowledgeable trainer. He listens to the issues and challenges and works accordingly with both you and the dog to resolve the issues. My dog has a severe case of possessiveness which no one has been able to help me with. With Ian I have hope that maybe my dog will tolerate other humans. Thanks Ian for restoring my hope.

Used services for very anxious dog, trainer is very patient and gets to know you first, spends quality 1/1 time with you and dog, my dog is definitely less anxious and would recommend
